RETURN AND REFUND policy

Order Cancellation

 

All orders that have no already shipped may be cancelled without penalty within 24 hours of placement. To cancel an order, an e-mail must be sent to info@roamwildoverland.com with the details of your order and items to be cancelled. Please allow 48 hours for processing.

Any order cancelled prior to shipping, but 24 hours after placement, will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

​

Any cancellation requests after an order has already been shipped will be subject to the return and refund policies.

 

Returns

Our return/refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, returns will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any international orders. All sales that leave Canada are final. 

 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, as well as sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Some additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards

  • First Aid Kits

  • Fuel

  • Perishables

  • Special Order Items

 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless directed to do so.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be notifed by e-mail that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

There may be a certain number of business days delay before you receive your refund depending on the payment processor.

We do not accept returns, or give refunds on special order items. 

​

Restocking Fees

​

There will be a 15% restocking fee on all cancelled or returned orders. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Price Match Policy

​

We are a small business, and so we are limited in what we can price match. If you find a product cheaper from another Canadian retailer, please let us know. If we can match or beat the price, we will. Sometimes it is not possible for us though, but we will always try our best. We appreciate your understanding.

Warranty


We are an authorized re-seller of products, and therefore do not warranty these items directly. Any and all warranty claims for defective items will need to be made directly with the manufacturer. We can provide guidance on this if required.


Exchanges (if applicable)


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@roamwildoverland.com and we will provide you with instructions.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

Shipping Items


If you are shipping any item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and are not liable for stolen or lost packages returned to us.

Custom Orders

 

If you request a custom order, a 50% deposit will be required. All deposits on special order items are non-refundable. 

 

When your order arrives to our store location, we will notify you. If you we do not hear back or receive a response within 30 days, your product will be released for sale to other customers. If you reach out after that time frame, asking for a refund or cancellation, the usual policies will apply: No refunds on special orders or sale items and 15% restocking fee on all other returns/cancellations.
